It was a busy year for the full - year Ahmad ( not his real name ) , a jihadist who have Western education background . He fought to overthrow the throne of Assad regime in Syria . Ahmad is a graduate of Canadian engineer who joined the Mujahideen of al -Qaeda in Syria in the fall of last year . In less than a year , he had three times the gain gunshot wounds and head injuries caused by shrapnel .
Several months ago , an independent journalist in the Middle East , Anna Theresa Day get the rare opportunity to speak with Ahmad in a hospital located across the border in Turkey . There he was undergoing treatment for injuries sniper shot in his left arm . He could not wait to get back to the forefront of the battle during the month of Ramadan . " You think that we are not crazy , but we do not think that many of the people in the West are a good person ... It is now more than 100,000 people were slaughtered in Syria , and you do not do anything . And you say that we this crazy ? Yeah , we thought you was cruel . "
Ahmed said that the American invasion of Iraq was a factor that made him want to join in the action of the Global Jihad .

Ahmad then showed photographs of life in FaceBook , during he was still in Canada and America . It appears he was partying - party with plenty of beer cans pile behind him . In another picture , he stood in Times Square , holding up two fingers to the camera a thumbs-up .
" That is the life of another , and now Alhamdulillah , I know which one is better , " he said as he gave a laugh icon .
For security reasons , Ahmad deactivate his Facebook page . It 's a form of anxiety that Western intelligence agencies can investigate , and also will endanger her friends who support him to go to Syria .
Since his return to Syria in September 2012, Ahmad has been struggling in a row of three different mujahideen groups , such as Jabhat al nusrah , the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham or more popularly known as ISIS .
The interesting thing is , when Ahmad said that the figure of the leader Jabhat al nusrah , Shaykh Abu Muhammad al Fatih al Jawlani is a hero like Osama bin Laden . Even Ahmad greatly hopes that one day Shaykh al Jawlani invite meals together .
